So you want to mass market via email. Great! Let’s go over our process and get started. PaperStreet will act as the designer for your email newsletter. We will be using the popular third-party program MailChimp to send out the emails. We use them because they have great experience in blasting out emails that generally do not get blocked or marked as spam. Moreover, it’s a system whereby you can self-manage future email blasts.
The Process
- PaperStreet Signs up Client for MailChimp.com Account with Client information.
- Client Confirms Account via Email. You will be getting an email from MailChimp. Please forward back to me and/or click on the link to confirm.
- Client Gives PaperStreet Credit Card for MailChimp and PaperStreet Fees (or Client uploads).
- Client Gives PaperStreet Excel Spreadsheet with Email, First Name, Last Name columns (in that order). If needed, MailChimp can also do read Email and Name column only.
- PaperStreet uses standard tested templates (1 or 2 column) and designs a great header graphic and color scheme.
- PaperStreet builds email template and uploads to client account.
- PaperStreet tests email and once tested, sends client a test to approve.
- PaperStreet loads in content for first email (subsequent emails can be done by client).
- PaperStreet does final test and confirms with client.
- PaperStreet sends Email Blast.
The Fees
Traditionally it takes at least 5 hours of time to set up a new email campaign. The client can also be trained to use the system in another hour of time. Content writing and photography costs are additional.
